David Mitchell is in a women's fashion magazine. Only a really tiny bit and talking about food, not clothes, but still - it's a bit random.
My cooking style: I'm a very bad cook, so I'd cook very basic things. I might grill some sausages or something like that/
In my fridge: cheese, milk, jam, tomatoes. And beer.
I'm impressed by: souffles. I like them and I've heard they're difficult.
Celebrity food moment: about ten years ago, a TV producer took me and Robert Webb [his comedy partner] out for lunch - it was the first lunch we'd ever been bought. We were desperate to seem competent and we were, right up until Robert poured mineral water all over his chips thinking it was a posh kind of vinegar.
My favourite London restaurant: The George & Vulture
My favourite out-of-London restaurant: The Beetle & Wedge Boathouse
My favourite cocktail: a whisky sour.
Burgers or berries? I like the posh end of unhealthy stuff; a fillet steak over a salad. But not a hot dog.
Never touch: I've never eaten sushi. I sort of plan to, but maybe I never will. I hate oysters.
